PLAN COMMISSION MEETING
Wednesday, November 3, 2010
I. CALL TO ORDER

II. CLERK’S ASSURANCE THAT MEETING WAS PROPERLY NOTICED

III. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG
IV. ADOPTION OF AGENDA
1. ACTION – Commissioner Wolf moved to adopt the agenda as presented, seconded by Commissioner Sperber. Motion carried 7-0
V. REVIEW & APPROVE MINUTES
1. ACTION – Commissioner Wolf moved to approve the minutes as presented, seconded by Commissioner Hefle. Motion carried 7-0
VI. PUBLIC HEARINGS - OPPORTUNITY WILL BE AFFORDED TO ALL INTERESTED PARTIES IN BEING HEARD CONCERNING:
A. Conditional Use Permit for Accessory Structure over 800 sq feet-Thomas and Diane Klink-2323 Ridgewood Rd-tax key # 06-005-08-022.00
1. Action-Chairman Bartel opened the public hearing at 7: 08 PM
2. Tom Sykora is their neighbor and he is all for the approval of the CUP.
3. Action-Chairman Bartel closed the public hearing at 7: 09 PM
4. Action-Commissioner Wolf moved to approve the Conditional Use Permit subject to payment of all fees, seconded by Commissioner Stephens. Motion carried 7-0
VII. RESIDENT CORRESPONDENCE/PERSONS WISHING TO BE HEARD
1. Karin Manley asked how long it will be until the Town has to start changing the street signs to adhere to the new standards that were set in place by the state. Engineer Lundeen explained that the Town has directed the County Highway department to start using the new standards when they come across missing or damaged signs. The Town will start phasing the replacement of street signs beginning in 2013 to reach the completion deadlines in 2018. This will be at the cost of the Town.
VIII. OLD BUSINESS
A. Sign Permit Renewals:
• Pioneer Preserve - Renewal
• Fire Ridge Golf Course
1. Action-Commissioner Stockwell moved to approve the sign permit for Pioneer Preserve for 2 years at which time it will be re-reviewed, seconded Commissioner Hefle. Motion carried 7-0
2. Building Inspector Fellenz explained that the site has 4 separate signs. The renewal request is for the renewal of the neon sign. The other signs consist of an a-frame structure, a sign that displays the specials, other banner signs that advertise miscellaneous items.
3. Action-Commissioner Wolf moved to approve the sign permit for Fire Ridge Golf Course for the neon sign only, the other 3 signs must be applied for and approved separately, or they must be removed to come into compliance, seconded by Commissioner Heisler. Motion carried 7-0

1. ACTION – Commissioner Stockwell moved to adjourn, seconded by Commissioner Wolf. Motion carried 7-0
