BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING
November 12, 2008

CALL TO ORDER
A. Chairman Bartel called the meeting to order at 7:00 P.M.
B. Present:
Chairman Lester A. Bartel, Jr.
Supervisor Tom Sykora
Supervisor Paul Helms
Supervisor Nancy Rogers

ABSENT:
II. ASSURANCE OF PROPER NOTICE
Town Clerk Jessica Schmidt assured the meeting that the Agenda was noticed properly
III. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG
A. Supervisor Helms thanked all of the veterans that were at the meeting this evening in recognition of Veterans Day.
IV. ADOPTION OF AGENDA
A. ACTION: Supervisor Grabow moved to accept Agenda, seconded by Supervisor Helms. Motion carried unanimously.
V. REVIEW & APPROVE MINUTES
A. ACTION: Supervisor Sykora moved to accept the minutes of the October meeting, seconded by Supervisor Rogers. Motion carried unanimously.
VI. PUBLIC HEARINGS
A. Ordinance #2008-118-25 MPH speed limit reduction and installation of a 25 MPH speed limit sign in the Aqua View subdivision.
B. ACTION: Chairman Bartel opened the public hearing at 7:12 PM.
C. No one wished o speak.
D. ACTION: Chairman Bartel closed the public hearing at 7:13 PM.
E. ACTION: Supervisor Rogers moved to adopt ordinance 2008-118, seconded by Supervisor Sykora. Motion carried
VII. RESIDENT CORRESPONDENCE – PERSONS WISHING TO BE HEARD
A. Clerk Schmidt received a request for a speed limit reduction, traffic monitoring and brush trimming on Green Bay Rd south of Chateau Ct

X. TOWN ENGINEER UPDATE
A. The culverts on Vista View will be installed next week. The county is only replacing and filling in with gravel this year, the driveways will be paved in the spring.
B. Engineer Meimeitz will update the board on what road projects were completed this year.

A. None
XII. REPORTS – FOR INFORMATION, DISCUSSION AND ACTION
A. Chair
1. Chairman Bartel complimented the election staff and the Clerk for a very organized election. The Town was the first to report their numbers to the county.
B. Supervisors
1. Supervisor Grabow asked if the shooting grade has been done on Green Bay Rd, it is on file.
2. Supervisor Grabow asked if the resident on the corner of Sharon Lane and HWY O was ever notified of the tree that is in the right-of-way. Clerk Schmidt stated that the letter was sent out but was returned undeliverable. Supervisor Grabow will get the correct information for the clerk.
3. Supervisor Grabow asked if the asphalt swale was installed on Cedar Sauk d. Engineer Meimeitz will check on that and update the board.
4. Supervisor Grabow stated that the Town needs to update the protocols to include more follow through after violation notifications have been issued.
5. Supervisor Grabow stated that the 30 days are up for the nuisance violation on Falls Rd. The board will discuss this item at the next meeting.

A. Action – Motion made by Supervisor Grabow to adjourn, seconded by Supervisor Sykora. Motion carried.
