PLAN COMMISSION MEETING
Wednesday, March 4, 2009
I. CALL TO ORDER
Chairman Lester A. Bartel, Jr. arrived at 7:15 PM

II. CLERK’S ASSURANCE THAT MEETING WAS PROPERLY NOTICED
A. Action-Clerk Schmidt assured the meeting was properly noticed
III. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG
IV. ADOPTION OF AGENDA
A. ACTION – Commissioner Sperber moved to adopt the agenda as presented, seconded by Commissioner Hefle. Motion carried 5-0
V. REVIEW & APPROVE MINUTES
A. ACTION – Commissioner Hefle moved to approve the minutes as presented, seconded by Commissioner Sperber. Motion carried 4-0 with Commissioner Stockwell abstaining, she did not attend the meeting last month
VI. PUBLIC HEARINGS - NONE
VII. RESIDENT CORRESPONDENCE/PERSONS WISHING TO BE HEARD
A. Marko Musich asked that the Port Washington Road District design standards and parking requirements be looked at when all of the other districts are being evaluated.
VIII. OLD BUSINESS-NONE
A. Chairman Bartel arrived at 7:15 PM
IX. NEW BUSINESS
A. Proposed text amendments to the B-1 Design Standards and 9.1.5.01 Parking Requirements
B. Engineer Lundeen gave an overview of the proposed text amendments and presented local municipalities standards for comparison
X. TOWN STAFF UPDATES
A. For future planning, Chairman Bartel would like the Commission and staff to evaluate the density in all residential districts in the Town.
XI. MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS DEEMED PERTINENT AS ALLOWED BY LAW
A. Chairman Bartel introduced Larry Tutewohl who accepted a nomination for a Plan Commission Member. The Board of Supervisors will discuss his appointment at the March 11, 2009 meeting.
XII. ADJOURN
A. ACTION – Commissioner Stockwell moved to adjourn, seconded by Commissioner Hefle. Motion carried 6-0
