PLAN COMMISSION MEETING
Wednesday, March 2, 2010

I. CALL TO ORDER

ABSENT: Mike Ansay, Larry Tutewohl, Jessica Schmidt
II. CLERK’S ASSURANCE THAT MEETING WAS PROPERLY NOTICED
1. Chairman Bartel assured the meeting was properly noticed.
III. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG
A. Chairman Bartel excused himself for an appointment. Commissioner Wolf took his seat as acting Chairman.
IV. REVIEW & APPROVE MINUTES
A. ACTION – Commissioner Sperber moved to approve the minutes as presented, seconded by Commissioner Stephens. Motion carried 4-0 with Karron Stockwell abstaining as she was not present at the meeting
V. PUBLIC HEARINGS - OPPORTUNITY WILL BE AFFORDED TO ALL INTERESTED PARTIES IN BEING HEARD CONCERNING: NONE
VI. RESIDENT CORRESPONDENCE/PERSONS WISHING TO BE HEARD: NONE
1. Chairman Bartel returned at 7:20 pm and took his seat as Chairman.
VII. OLD BUSINESS
A. Conditional Use Permit Renewal (permit # 05-01)-Lakefield Sales and Service-Lakefield Auto
1. ACTION-Commissioner Stockwell moved to extend the Conditional Use Permit for a period of 5-years, seconded by Commissioner Sperber. Motion carried 5-0
VIII. NEW BUSINESS
A. STH 32/V Land use update presentation
1. Planner Schaefer and Kathleen Cady-Schilling presented an updated STH 32/V packet.
2. The workgroup established 8 general land uses and will be finalized in the last 2 meetings.
3. No action taken
B. EDGE Branding Update
1. Chairman Bartel explained that Edge branding will extend to water towers, Village trucks, etc. for visibility to residents. If the Town considers adopting the logo it would show continuity between the Town and Village.
2. No action taken
IX. TOWN STAFF UPDATES-NONE
X. MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS DEEMED PERTINENT AS ALLOWED BY LAW-NONE
XI. ADJOURN
A. ACTION – Commissioner Wolf moved to adjourn, seconded by Commissioner Stockwell. Motion carried 5-0
