PLAN COMMISSION MEETING
Wednesday, June 2, 2010
I. CALL TO ORDER

IV. REVIEW & APPROVE MINUTES
A. ACTION – Commissioner Wolf moved to approve the minutes of the March 2, 2010 meeting as presented, seconded by Commissioner Stockwell. Motion carried 5-0
V. PUBLIC HEARINGS - OPPORTUNITY WILL BE AFFORDED TO ALL INTERESTED PARTIES IN BEING HEARD CONCERNING:
A. Resolution 2010-6 Amendment to the Town of Grafton Comprehensive Plan: 2035
1. Action-Chairman Bartel opened the public hearing at 7: 12 PM
2. Steve Wilkinson of 1528 N Green Bay Rd asked what the density will be along CTH 32/V. Planner Schaefer explained that this item will be addressed at the August 2010 meeting as this is strictly addressing the implementation element of the plan.
3. Action-Chairman Bartel closed the public hearing at 7:14 PM
4. Action-Commissioner Wolf moved to approve Resolution 2010-6, seconded by Commissioner Hefle. Motion carried 5-0
B. Conditional Use Permit for an accessory Structure over 800 square feet-Rick & Lori Rosmann-2151 E. River Rd-tax key # 06-006-11-001.00
1. Action-Chairman Bartel opened the public hearing at 7:15 PM
2. Residents asked how for the structure will be from the river. Building Inspector Fellenz pointed out the location of the structure on the plan set.
3. Action-Chairman Bartel closed the public hearing at 7:17 PM
4. Action-Commissioner Wolf moved to approve the Conditional Use Permit, seconded by Commissioner Sperber. Motion carried 5-0
VI. RESIDENT CORRESPONDENCE/PERSONS WISHING TO BE HEARD-NONE
VII. OLD BUSINESS-NONE
VIII. NEW BUSINESS
A. Discussion by Andrew Struck, Director – Planning and Parks Department, Ozaukee County, on the State of Wisconsin’s Working Lands Initiative and the County Farmland Preservation Plan update and Possible Action on an appointment to the County’s Farmland Preservation Planning Citizen Advisory Committee
1. Action-No action taken
IX. TOWN STAFF UPDATES
1. Engineer Lundeen informed the Commission that the non-motorized boat launch is under construction and the Lakeshore Rd phase 2 project will begging and complete next week, weather permitting.
2. Planner Schaefer informed the Commission that the STH 32/V Land Use will be up for adoption in August.
X. MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS DEEMED PERTINENT AS ALLOWED BY LAW
XI. ADJOURN
A. ACTION – Commissioner Stockwell moved to adjourn, seconded by Commissioner Sperber. Motion carried 5-0
