I. CALL TO ORDER

III. ADOPTION OF AGENDA
A. ACTION – Commissioner Wilkinson moved to approve the agenda, seconded by
Commissioner Graff. Motion passed unanimously.
IV. REVIEW & APPROVE MINUTES
A. January 7, 2008 minutes will be approved at the next meeting.
V. OLD BUSINESS
A. Establish dollar amounts that will be needed for future projects- *NOTE: this item was
tabled at the November 26, 2007 meeting.
1. Scientist Lennie reviewed the financial requirements and clarified the costs only
pertain to the CORP not additional purchase of development rights.
2. Establishing the dollar amounts does not give a blanket right to do the projects; all
projects will still need to be approved.
3. ACTION – Commissioner Graff moved to approve the dollar amounts needed
to fund the COPR projects in the next five years: $60,000 for two canoe
launches, $16,500 for one-third of the trail signage, and $665,125.00 for one-
half of the multi-use trail, seconded by Commissioner Tomter. Motion passed
unanimously.
B. Withdrawal of the proposed 2008 consideration of grants
1. Commissioner Wilkinson explained the Town’s project was not recommended for
approval of the state grant.
2. Scientist Lennie suggested the Commission attend the Coastal Management grant
meeting and alter the grant for possible consideration.
3. ACTION- Commissioner Tomter moved to alter the grant request for only one
canoe launch for $15,000, seconded by Commissioner Graff. Motion passed
unanimously.
VI. NEW BUSINESS
A. Establish uses for donations that are received.
1. Thank you notes were not sent to donators.
2. $725.00 has been collected to date. They are in a separate Ozaukee/Washington
Land Trust fund designated to spend on Town projects.
3. A policy will be constructed that the funds will require the Town of Grafton Open
Space Commission to approve any expenditure. Document will be presented at the
March 2008 meeting.

IX. MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS DEEMED PERTINENT AS ALLOWED BY LAW
1. There will be no Open Space Commission meeting February 25, 2008. Next
meeting will be March 24, 2008.
X. ADJOURN
1. ACTION – Commissioner Wilkinson moved to adjourn, seconded by
Commissioner Graff. Motion passed unanimously.
