WELCOME TO THE TOWN OF GRAFTON!

GRAFTON HISTORIC SOCIETY

The Village of Grafton's Historic Preservation Commission is considering forming a Grafton-area (Town and Village) private, non-profit historic society.  If you are interested, please attend the informational session on February 18th at the Glass Palette.  More information can be found HERE.

RECENT HOME BURGLARIES -  PLEASE BE AWARE

From the Ozaukee County Sheriff's Department:

There have been several recent burglaries in the Town of Grafton.  A home near the intersection of Terminal Rd and CTH W was burglarized during the day on 1/26/16, sometime between the hours of 8am and 3pm. Forced entry was made to the door.  Similar to recent burglaries in the area, electronics and other valuables were taken.

It is possible that the suspect(s) may be casing homes or using a ruse or scheme to determine if any occupants are home.  A common scheme used by suspect(s...) involves knocking on the door, and if someone answers, the suspect(s) make up a reason for them to be there (ie: roof repair, directions, lost dog, etc.)  If no one answers the door, they assume the home is unoccupied and make forced entry to the residence.

We are asking the public to keep an eye out for suspicious behavior and to report to us immediately if someone comes to your door for seemingly no reason. Slow driving vehicles, strangers knocking on neighbor’s doors, walking around in the yard, etc. Report it immediately!! Call us at 262-284-7172 or text “OZSO + your tip” anonymously to 847411.

PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD ABOUT THIS AND INFORM YOUR NEIGHBORS!

CONGRATULATIONS, CAROL SCHNEIDER!
